Ibirapuera Park (Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral, Vila Mariana, São Paulo) –– opened in 1954, this huge park (1.6 million square meters) is São Paulo’s answer to New York’s Central Park, and has jogging paths, football fields, and open gym equipment. Along with the physical exercises, bicycle paths and playground, the Park has museums, auditoriums and a planetarium, as well as cultural programs. Hours: 5:00 am – Midnight (daily). Free admission.
